    I never could figure this out.

    Is it "tidbits" or "titbits". I hear "titbits" being used verbally.
    "Tidbits" would be more obvious to me since "tidbits" are bits of tid.
    Whereas "titbits" are bits of...well, you know.

    I immediately checked Cambridge Online Dictionary. Apparently it is titbits..and i can't find any meaning for tid. The following is the disturbing example the dictionary has on how to use it in a sentence!!

    Grandma always has a few titbits for the children if they're visiting at lunchtime
